The first snowfall has already "sugared" Nordkette and Patscherkofel, the chestnuts are already rolling over meadows and paths. And the well-deserved summer vacation is already a few weeks (= a seemingly eternity) ago. But relaxing is also possible in autumn - and even without problems in and around Innsbruck. I have collected for you the favorite relaxation oases of the blog team.

In recent years, my blogger colleagues have been able to test where it's best to put your feet up and relax - professionally and purely professionally, of course. I have summarized these impressions here for you again in brief. Now it's time to swap the mountain boots or the road bike for the bathrobe and simply block out the cool temperatures and short days. It can start - with a little Zen, a little sweating and a lot of coziness.

1. Towards the sun - wellness on the sunny plateau Mieming

Our bloggers Tamara, Chris and Carlos have looked around in two modern and recently renovated wellness hotels - the Alpenresort Schwarz and the Bio Wellness Hotel Holzleiten - and found out: It can be relaxed with the mix from modern architecture and traditional cosiness more than excellently, if one comes out of the amazement. In the bio Wellness hotel Holzleiten dominate thereby natural materials and calm retreats the Wellness range, in the alpine resort black sets equal on a whole Saunadorf for relaxing.

2. Health first - Detox & Health at Lanserhof

Blogger Barbara took a closer look at the concept of the health center Lanserhof: Wellness is basically not the point here. Lanserhof pursues a holistic, preventive health approach based on F.X. Mayer therapy. A medical team accompanies the guests. Nutrition, sports, physio therapy and much more are on the daily program. The furnishings and ambience are in no way inferior to the popular wellness hotels, however, and you can see for yourself by taking a look at the website or the image film.

However, this exclusive approach is not for the small purse, as Barbara reveals in her blog post.

3. To infinity - relaxing in the infinity pool at 2,000 meters

To relax, you first have to get up high, as Lea and Ashley report. For this, the Hotel Mooshaus in Kühtai offers a very special backdrop for the next swim. At more than 2,000 meters above sea level, you can enjoy the high alpine mountain landscape in the infinity pool.

And what else? You can ski directly from the hotel to the slopes, and the modern amenities in the rooms and the cuisine leave nothing to be desired. Here, you rarely think about everyday life at home.

4. Indoor pool and ecological? At the "Stern" in Obsteig

The "Stern" in Obsteig has set sustainability as its goal - and has now transferred this concept to the wellness area. Starting in fall 2021, there will be the eco indoor pool where you can "dive for the stars." The design is based on the nearby Dragon Lake: with an originating spring, waterfall and mountain lake. Younger guests will also get their money's worth here. A separate toddler pool with slides complements the large main pool, where you can even star dive. Those who prefer to take it a little easier can enjoy the starry sky and relax in the relaxation room. But that's not the end of it: Those who want to find out for themselves about the ingenious concept behind the eco indoor pool can take a look behind the scenes via "peepholes" and transparent communication. This is how sustainable innovation works in Tyrolean tourism.

5. The blue oasis in the big city - a steam bath in art nouveau style

Just a few minutes' walk from Innsbruck's main train station, a small, blue wellness diamond is hiding in the alleys of Innsbruck: the steam bath in Salurner Straße. In the art nouveau bathing establishment, a little retro flair comes up; alternatively, you can probably imagine a steam bath in a Wes Anderson movie like The Grand Budapest Hotel. Here, you take a little trip back in time 100 years and a little cultural journey into many an established sauna circuit, as our blogger Vil sums up. A little bit of special sweating in the heart of Innsbruck.

6. Big City Life - A pool with a view into the center of Innsbruck

At the Grauer Bär, old-town chic can be combined with wellness flair. The panorama pool on the fifth floor offers a very special view here. Of course, the wellness area also offers a stylish interior - with sauna, steam bath and relaxation oases where you can simply let your soul dangle. The only downer: You almost have to overcome yourself to pay a visit to Innsbruck's old town after all with so much coziness.

P.S. Here is another insider tip. In addition to spas and wellness oases, there are other heartwarming places for frosty days. Blogger Arno reveals his favorites here.
